The campus’s official attendance time will be used for calculating full and part-day state truancy indicators and other truancy-related actions. The district must submit attendance of its students to the TEA reflecting attendance at a specific time each day. Each school will announce its official attendance at the beginning of the school year. This information will also be published on the campus website. Students not in attendance during the official attendance time will be marked absent.
A student absent for any portion of the day should follow the procedures to provide documentation of the absence.
All attendance for Aldine ISD’s elementary schools is officially taken at 9:15 am daily.
